Record Broken as Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Gets First Female SUG President

A thirty One (31) years  record has been broken in the history of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta as a female student by name Comrade Adeola Tawakalt Ahmed a.k.a. D’ola wins the president of the Student Union Government (SUG).

Since the establishment of the university 31 years ago, no female students has won the SUG president, but this is now history as a dogged fellow has shown that anything a man can do, a woman can do better.

D’ola is a 400 Level student of Animal Breeding and Genetic, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM).

The new President of the Student Union has assured her teeming fellow students and the entire University Community that she won’t run a gender biased union.

Comrade Ahmed who disclosed this in her Acceptance Cum Appreciation Speech said her Unionism is all gender embracing.

According to her, “This is not a unionism of gender, but a unionism of all by all and for all. Remember, we’re all FUNAABITES, we are one big family”.

Congrats to her.
