NANS ZONE B PATNERS WITH NIGERIAN POLICE ON POLICE CAMPAIGN AGAINST CULTISM AND OTHER VICES (POCACOV)
The Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV) project is a virile campaign launched by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abubakar Mohammed Adamu under the National coordinatorship of SP Ebere Amarizu to help rescue young persons from the claws of cultism and other vices.
Campuses across Nigeria are homes to majority of young persons and therefore should form a major focal point of such campaign.
The Enugu state chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS under the leadership of the Zone B Deputy Coordinator Comrade Darlington Ugwuegbe has therefore availed herself as a willing and ready partner for such campaign.
The details and strategies of this partnership was finalised in a closed door meeting held yesterday 4th December 2019 between the NANS delegation led by the Deputy Coordinator, and The Police Leadership of Enugu state led by the very Dynamic CP Ahmad Abdulrahman. Also present in the meeting was the National Coordinator of POCACOV, SP Ebere Amarizu.
The Students leadership also assured the police that to affirm their readiness to join the campaign, they shall participate fully in the one million march being organised by POCACOV in Enugu state on Saturday 7th December 2019.
Through the office of the Deputy coordinator, other programs and strategies shall be deployed to drive the messages into our campuses in the different states of the zone(South South and South East) following approval from POCACOV.
POCACOV; its all about you
